More in a bit, but given the turnout when Ed was last in LA for Reg's In Too Deep party... This gentleman doesn't need much of an introduction.

I also figure maybe you'll cut me some slack for booking someone who is currently thumping the world stage, and doesn't require my typical 6 paragraphs of explaining how much they meant to me 15 years ago. :)

Also joining us for the evening will be one of Ed's UQ label-mates who just happens to be an LA original, making things happen worldwide for the likes of Planet E, Underground Resistance, Ican, and El Coyote.

Oh, yeah, just imagine Medusa Lounge the week of Halloween.

Bottom Floor

Bottom Floor was established as a multi-faceted platform for DJs and producers prolific in their ability to squeeze soul out of machines.  Championing the electronic dance music sub-genre of true deep house, its first incarnation was that of a weekly event that served as an intimate home for a specific yet eclectic sound.  It played host to many of Los Angeles’ finest DJs, including numerous appearances by fan-favorites John Tejada (Palette Recordings), Santiago Salazar (Planet E), DJ Dex (Underground Resistance), and Lars Behrenroth (Deeper Shades of House).  Perhaps better known for their more aggressive styles of production, each guest effortlessly delivered on the request to explore the deeper side of their record collection.

Currently, Bottom Floor's focus is producing the “Bottom Floor Welcomes:” series. There you'll find talent that arrives on planes, coupled with talent that arrives on roller skates. Guests to date include Kai Alcé (NDATL Muzik), Chris Brann (Wamdue Project), Brett Dancer (Track Mode Recordings), Jordan Fields (MoWax), Jus-Ed (Underground Quality), Boo Williams (Strictly Jaz Unit), and Daniel Bell (7th City).
